Change in Date for Christmas Party

Please be aware that the Christmas Party will now be held on December 9th, 5 pm start, 6 pm Dinner. We are currently planning a delicious Roast Beef, with Scalloped potatoes and ginger carrots. Mel Kolstad is organizing all this amazing food for us. Please bring your own plates, cutlery and beverages. Also, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for local food banks. Please be generous with some items or some cash.

Canada Day in Sidney 2023

Thanks to Laura Moore-Dempsey, Michele Fraser and Steven Mohr for all their hard work organizing a successful Canada Day cruise to Port Sidney Marina last weekend. Twelve boats plus Don and Helen sans Luna-Sea participated in the event. Lovely weather, although a bit breezy at times, contributed to an enjoyable celebration. Sucia Shrimp Boil 2023

A grand time was had by all at last weekend's Shrimp Boil in Fossil Bay on Sucia, despite some unexpected inclement weather. Turnout was quite good as reported by co-hosts Lexie & Bruce Dalzell and Esther & Mark Clarkson. There were 7 boats in attendance with 13 members and 1 guest. Upcoming Cruise – Sucia Shrimp Boil (June 9-11, 2023)

Please register now if you are interested in attending this fun cruise event in Fossil Bay on Sucia Island. Opening Day 2023

We had a good turnout for this year's Opening Day. The ceremonies took place at Blaine Harbor and 4 boats participated in the Sail Past and Salute to the Commodore. Dick Hardman gave a lovely Blessing of the Fleet. Commodore Bruce and Lexie Dalzell took the Salute from participating members onboard their vessel Soggy Dollar. IceBreaker Cruise 2023

By all accounts, a good time was had by all who attended this year's Ice Breaker Cruise on Stuart Island which ran from April 21-23, 2023.
