A grand time was had by all at last weekend’s Shrimp Boil in Fossil Bay on Sucia, despite some unexpected inclement weather. Turnout was quite good as reported by co-hosts Lexie & Bruce Dalzell and Esther & Mark Clarkson. There were 7 boats in attendance with 13 members and 1 guest.
The shrimp boil Saturday night was so fabulous that they managed to attract 2 guests who joined the group for dinner and decided to become SYC members that night! Welcome to Jody & Rebecca Brayton from Bothell WA. who were aboard their boat called Relentless.
A few stragglers stayed on to enjoy the good weather Sunday evening and managed to get involved with a helicopter evacuation from the island of an injured hiker. What a great crew!
