This year’s holiday party was a great success. The food was fabulous as was the fellowship of all the members who attended. Outgoing Commodore Bruce and his wife Lexie were presented with a lovely pastel of their boat “Soggy Dollar”.
We also picked up a new member to join our club for 2024! 
It was announced that the Semiahmoo Yacht Club will again be supporting the reconstruction of The Plover and handed a check to Richard Sturgill, plus another donation to BC Marine Parks as they do such a great job to make our waters easier to navigate and enjoy.
What a fantastic event to finish off 2023! Mel Kolstad did a great job with his Prime Rib, Scalloped Potatoes and Ginger Carrots. Thanks so much to all who volunteered – Colleen for leading decorations, Lisa, Joan, Lexie, Bruce & Mel who served up the food and so many of the members who helped with clean-up. A very special thanks to members who brought donations, as so many are in need and it’s wonderful to support our communities.
